"Cockroach On Trenton" from The Color Bars EP. Hungover, we slump over the edge of our couch and notice a New Jersey-shaped stain on the carpet. A dead cockroach lies on the stain exactly where the state's capitol Trenton would be and we begin to see ourselves in that miserable microcosm. This connection motivates us to get off the couch and start dealing with the crippling relationship grid-lock that sent us here in the first place.

Recorded in Dave Spelber's basement in Rockville Center, NY. This song's instruments were tracked completely live by Gerald Slevin (bass), John English (guitar) and Dave Spelber (drums).
